Write, Everyday

If you are, or want to be, a writer, wite something everyday unless you are sick or dead. It takes more than desire, it takes determination to be a writer. A real writer never runs out of subject matter. The whole world is filled with write-worthy material. Even if you have to use writing prompts, use them, but write everyday you possibly can. Writing should be one of the most pleasurable of pursuits for a real writer, if you dread it or hate it, just give up on it because you aren't a real writer. If you hit a dry spell, prime the pump with prompts until you feel the inspiration moving within you again. Don't expect accolades or praise, write for the pure joy and release of penning down your thoughts and emotions. If you want to be a writer, WRITE!
