Christmas day is officially over. My daddy always loved Christmas but he called it a big build up to a big let down. The day after can be a bit depressing for some folks. Holiday visitors leave or are preparing to leave. You're eating leftovers. Gifts often need to be returned to the stores. It can be a stressful and emotionally disappointing time. I think if we can just keep in mind the meaning of Christmas, the birth of Our Lord, the love shown between family and friends, we will be looking forward to next Christmas instead of mourning the passing of this one. Happy New Year, everyone.
