 So Hard To Do

Sitting by the deathbeds of my father, mother and sister was possibly the most difficult thing I've ever done. To feel so helpless when you want to do something, anything to make them better. There is just nothing you can do except maybe swipe their parched lips with some cold water. You find yourself praying for their release, yet dreading the final goodbye.. I thought about how there is morphine for the dying, but nothing to ease the pain of those who must watch them die.
